Cooperate Partnerships
Corporate Partnerships, Business Giving, and Employee Donations
Relief Inc. is very grateful to the Individuals, the numerous Companies and Organizations who have helped us further our work through money donations, gift in kind donations, and volunteer support, etc.
Because many people want to purchase brands that resonate with their values, “cause marketing” (linking a company’s sales campaign to a charitable organization) has become popular in the corporate culture. It provides an enhanced corporate image, a clearer differentiation between a company, and its competitors, stronger customer loyalty, and contributes to building a better community. Without your support, we would not be making the difference that we are making today. See the list that keeps on growing….
Top 5 Reasons Why you should Develop a Partnership With Relief Inc
Provide / Purchase a Gift Certificate
A recent survey indicated that nearly half of all customers surveyed are more likely to buy from companies that support good causes (Business in the Community).
Supporting a non-profit is a great way
Additionally, supporting a non-profit provides tremendous opportunities for fun, morale-boosting activities that give staff, and customers the ‘feel-good factor’.
There are several ways you can help – from small, one-off activities to long-term, mutually-beneficial partnerships. Here are a few current opportunities:
Corporate Grants – We are looking to expand our support base, and accept one-year, and multi-year grants for general operating support to cover program expenses, expansion, curriculum development, renovation, technology, and capacity building.
See other ways you can help…
Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Giving, and Philanthropy are in!

Advocacies
RELIEF, INC. ADVOCACY
The goal of Relief, Inc. Advocacy is to involve individuals, groups, and organizations with passion, and resources to make a difference in the lives of the Liberian people by supporting/volunteering efforts toward one, or more of the following projects:
Grassroots Resources Optimizing Wellness – GROW
Sponsor the Agriculture students at the University of Liberia to become volunteers, and work with farmers/landowners. Relief, Inc. provides tools, and seeds to farmers for sustainability.
Hope On Wheels – HOW
Deliver Food, Cloth, Education & Medical supplies to war-torn Liberians.
Kids In School (KIS)
Sponsor a child in school. Sponsorship includes school supplies, uniforms, and tuition. Monthly, or annually, provide simple needs like toilet paper, food, and soap. Help them get the education they need to get ahead.
Relief, Inc. Liberia Book Trust—Liberia Book Trust, in partnership with Relief, Inc. works jointly to bring books to Liberian schools. By 2018, we want to see a reduction of the student to textbook ratios from the present ratios of 27 to 1, and 9 to 1 in public primary, and secondary schools, respectively.
Sending Hope In Packages – SHIP – Shipping Cloth, Food, Books, and Supplies for survival, and then thrive through self sufficiency.
Wellness Investors Now Give Service – WINGS –Recruit Doctors/Nurses to go into Liberia to educate, and medicate girls, and women about STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) prevention. STDs are destroying the future of Liberia. About 45 out of 50 women are STD positive. Our goal is to reduce STDs. 50% of Liberia’s population are being affected.
Women of Worth (WOW)— This program trains women to own their own businesses, or at least become self-employed. These women then must complete community service hours to graduate. Women of Worth are the road to self sufficiency.
ESTABLISHING A CHAPTER
Chapters meet monthly to brainstorm, and plan “how” they will speak up for their selected project. Some chapters meet less often.
All chapters look for creative ways to produce funding, and support for the project of their choice. Ideas include Ice Cream Socials, Dessert & Coffee Hour, BBQ Dinner sales, Benefit Dinner, Auction, Walk-a-Thons, etc. Some chapters may receive offerings during special church services, or events focused on their project. Another idea, involves approaching business owners, or charity leagues that have great financial resources, and are in need of a non-profit organization to support.
Some chapters host events to gain exposure, financial support and broaden the network.
