In December 2019, Relief, Inc. supporters raised $675 to start a pig breeding program at The House of Hope orphanage in Ganta City, Nimba County, Liberia, Africa. The funds purchased two pigs, supplies for a shelter, food and medical treatment.

The program is a success! The breeding pair produced a healthy litter that will provide food and income for the orphans. We are happy to see the children learn self sufficiency, thanks to your help.

Relief, Inc. would like to continue to develop programs to allow the children to learn, grow and feed themselves, with the thoughtful guidance of their caregivers.

Deserving students from Modesto City Schools district in Modesto, CA, USA, receive baskets filled with healthy products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes and masks, in the month of February. These health maintenance items help serve an urgent need in our community.

Relief, Inc. has been helping the House of Hope Ministries Orphanage to become self sustainable through their art program, where their children create fashion designs.

The fashion design program provides the orphans with a unique opportunity to invest in their future. Every child participating in this project receives a royalty at age 18, to be used for educational and entrepreneurial opportunities. The Orphanage also receives a royalty to improve the orphan's lives.

W.O.W Women of Worth Program

Through the W.O.W. program, Relief, Inc. offers impoverished women the opportunity to learn a trade. In 2018-2019 Relief, Inc. trained 10 women in fabric weaving. Traditional African cloth is in high demand for it's vibrant colors, and this trade will help these women to support themselves and their families.
