As part of a benefit for the Humanity for Africa Foundation, Phebe Dennis-Fortt, Founder/CEO of Relief Inc. had the honor of receiving an award from the the Newark, NJ Municipal Council commending Relief Inc. Founder, Phebe Dennis-Fortt, for her “outstanding and Dedicated Service in advancing the Educational Goals of the Humanity for Africa Foundation.

- Kids In School (KIS) program sponsored 17 year old Jacob Trawally At 17, He’s Building Mansions from a Mud Hut into engineering school in Kakata City, Margibi County. Purchased his drafting supplies, uniform. Read his story.
- 13th Annual CrabFest Fundraiser, Great success! raised enough funds to build a Fence around the House of Hope Orphanage Home Ganta City, Nimba County to prevent a shutdown of the orphanage and create a safe place for them at the same time. See photos.
- Women Of Worth (WOW) program sponsored 10 Women into Weaving program in Totota City,
Bong County.

2016
- Artwork supplies and laptop for 28 Orphans between 8-12 years of age delivered to the House of Hope Orphanage Home in Ganta City, Nimba County. Liberia for their art program.
- Got the orphans birth certificate to establish their trust fund.
- Kids In School (KIS) Sponsored Ms. Annie Kollie two kids in school at the Upper Apostolic Academy School in Totota City, Bong County during the 2016-2017 school year, and provided them with uniform and shoes.

- Relief, Inc. Would like to thank Jim Sherlock of Reborn International Outreach, and Michael Jacobson, of Montessori Modal United Nations and Reelcause, for giving her the opportunity to use her international Relief for KIS-kids in school as a means to give orphans a unique opportunity to invest in their own future. It is truly a blessing to be a part of such a meaningful project.

Relief, Inc. successfully delivered a 40 foot container, and distributed the content to the end users during the Ebola crises in Liberia, West Africa (link to the distribution report)

The Elders and citizen of Gbah Jallah Keh Estate of Bomi County, Liberia. donated two acres of land to Relief, Inc.
2010
- Relief, Inc. partnered with Tasama Elementary school in New-Kru Town, Liberia.
- Relief donated medical medical supplies estimated at about $10,000.00, and other assorted items to Redemption Hospital, and the citizens of the Borough of New-Kru Town, [Liberia], by Relief’s coordinator Aloysius Barr in Liberia.
- Relief sponsored one kid in school, in Liberia.
- Relief hired a bookkeeper for the Modesto, USA office.
- Relief, Inc. fed 1300 families, and gave toys to the kids during the holiday season.
- Relief, Inc. had a Christmas Party for 100 neighborhood kids in Liberia.
2009
- Relief’s 5th annual Crab Fest Fundraiser was a part of the Hammertime Reality show on the A&E Network. The show aired on June 14, 2009. This provided us with national press coverage.
- Relief, Inc. donates goods locally, on a case by case basis, and as needed.
2008
- In November, Relief, Inc.’s partnership with Feed The Children allowed us to donate 5,418 lbs of medium yams in our local communities, from Modesto to San Francisco.
- We restructured Relief’s Administrative functions to allow us to be more efficient. This included the branding of Relief, Inc. We’ve also revamped all of our Marketing Material. We are in the process of redesigning our website, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. This will accomplish an online community where everyone can come together, assisting the people of war-torn Liberia, as well as our local communities.
- Relief, Inc., sponsored three women into the Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Arts, Ministry of Education (Tailoring), during the 2008-2009 school year. The Fitzpatrick Dealership Group partnership continued to educate the women of war-torn Liberia, as well. A new sponsor, WOW/M.J.F. Campaign, sponsored two of the three women.
- In addition to our international relief effort, we provide training, and leadership to local high school, and college student volunteers. The student’s involvement in our charitable organization exposes them to things that they ordinarily would not experience until they are in the job market.
- In February, Relief, Inc. became a member of GuideStar.
2007
Relief, Inc. partnered with Purple Dragon to create its first signature Pen from the Palm Sheaf. These pens will be for our Special Partners/Sponsors, and Donors.
Our partnership with the Fitzpatrick Dealership Group allowed us to open our WOW bank account. This allowed us to purchase, and own our first generator. We were also able to enroll three WOW women into the YMCA computer school in Monrovia, Liberia. Click here to see a photo of the check presentation.

For the 2006-2007 School year, Relief, Inc. sponsors Rayleen Eidson, Penny Mello, Patricia Lugeer, E&S Precision Machine, Inc., Eva Weimer, Diane Trombetta, and the Waterford Church of The Brethren sponsored six kids in school, in Liberia.
Our Humanitarian Shipment to Liberia consisted of A 1990 Toyota 4X4 Truck (donated by Mr. Ronald Fortt), Food, Clothing, and School Supplies, Office Supplies, Medical Supplies, Paint, Mattresses, footwear, and much more from in-kind donors. Shipping was donated by Mr. Jimmy Sherlock (Reborn), his friends, and co workers. The shipment was personally distributed to the people of Liberia by our Founder, her family, and The Resurrection Chapel.
